The Triratna East Surrey Buddhism and Meditation group will once again be holding drop-in classes on Tuesday evenings at the Lloyd Hall in Outwood, Surrey, beginning January 5th.
The evenings begin promptly at 7:30pm and usually conclude no later than 9:30pm.
There is no charge for the evening although any donations received are put towards the hire of the hall, running day retreats and the purchase of meditation equipment etc.
Each evening typically consists of some moving meditation followed by a period of seated meditation, tea and an open forum to ask any questions you may have surrounding Buddhism, Meditation and Mindfulness.
The group is open to all regardless of age, gender, beliefs etc although under 16’s will require adult supervision.
In addition to the drop-in class there are 8 day retreats proposed this year on different aspects of the spiritual life. Details can be found on the events pages on this website, Facebook and the printed program available at Croydon Buddhist Centre, Rivendell retreat centre and Lloyd Hall.
The TES discussion group, following the Triratna foundation course, is also set to continue into next year with the possible addition of a second group forming subject to demand. If you haven’t already registered your interest now would be the time to do so.
If that wasn’t enough there are two Pop-up restaurant evenings with music.
As you can probably gather, a lot of effort has gone into this years program and your support would be most appreciated.
Finally, if you would like to offer your services in anyway we would love to hear from you. You can contact the TES team through the contacts page on this website.
